Knee High Celebs in Limos
Edinburgh may have been home to the Bay City Rollers; however, Glasgow has babes who are high rollers! And, star treatment is just what fourteen deserving students enrolled in the four-plus program at Temperance Street Elementary School got when their teacher treated them to a limousine ride to their favourite restaurant, McDonald's of course.
One by one the four and five year olds piled into the stretch limo where they were escorted for a celebratory end of year lunch of hamburgers and French fries. The idea to treat the students to a limo ride came one day when Junior MacLellan was running late dropping his son, Ryland Irving, off at school. Irving is a student in the pre-primary class and is often taken to school by his father who works as a limousine chauffeur.
Apparently the other children saw that Ryland came to school in a limo and were very impressed. They were very excited when they were promised a ride as part of their end of year celebrations. The four plus students will be heading to Grade Primary next year. Although they were lucky enough to ride in a stretch limo at a very young age, the next time they get in a limousine they may be going to their high school prom!
